What started off as a simple idea in 2007 ended up being a bold football journey. After working in the fields of audiovisual, graphic design and music, both GFUNK and BATZ were looking into other ways to convert their passions into something worthwhile. The guys noticed that clothing within certain subcultures like the Hip Hop and skating were well represented in Melbourne. It was from this which begged the question "Why isn’t there a Football clothing culture?"
This factor combined with their sheer passion for the sport lead them to create a range of T-shirts which can be worn out socially, whilst still having a subtle connection to the game. Inspiration was drawn from a myriad of avenues such as football trips abroad, to watching countless hours of old VHS football footage.
Their creation was a custom fitted T-shirt, sporting vibrant colours and cool designs, with concepts ranging from 80’s icons to classic football imagery.
GFUNK&BATZ love their T-shirts and their Football, which has given them the inspiration to design in what they believe are "the most stylish football T-shirts around!"
